About Me
HI, I'M DAE!
I got my start in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, where I honed my balayage technique under the mentorship of one of the industry's finest. My journey took me across the globe, assisting with hair coloring in the dazzling cities of Dubai and New York, and working on music videos and photoshoots to perfect my craft. After three years, I made my way to San Francisco, where I firmly established myself as a color artist behind the chair.
In San Francisco, I perfected the sunny balayage technique and began experimenting with creative, bright colors, and eventually fused the two to create one of my signatures, "naturally unnatural." Beautiful and soft, yet bold and daring.
In 2017, I took a leap of faith and left the traditional salon environment for a three-year adventure as a traveling hairstylist, working around the globe. Today, you can find me in Charlotte, NC, sharing my colorful creations closer to home. I live with my so-white-she-is-pink pitbull, Juni, and my cherished orange VW bus, Neon Leon.
When I'm not busy transforming locks, you can catch me thrifting for antiques, in my hammock down by the river, or finding my zen in a yoga class at Khali.
